Intuitive Eating Coaching

Joyful eating is in your future

Let us guide you to find freedom with food and make peace with your body.

Intuitive Eating Coaching

If you are ready to stop binge eating, or get off the diet roller coaster and make lasting change in your relationship with food, we’re here to support you! Our culture is fraught with diet messaging and misinformation around food and nutrition, and it’s hard to navigate. We’ll work together to help you get in touch with your own internal cues, like hunger, fullness, and satisfaction. Dieting takes so much unnecessary time and energy. Eating intuitively will allow you the brain space to focus on the things in your life that really matter.

Do you have questions?

We’ve got answers!

What is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)? Are you different than a nutritionist?

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is similar to a nutritionist in many ways. However a RDN has met a minimum set of qualifications and holds a legal title. RDNs have completed the minimum of a Baccalaureate degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university, met minimum academic requirements in dietetics (Didactic Program in Dietetics), completed a supervised practice program, successfully passed the Registration Exam for Dietetians, and continue to complete and update professional continuing education units for recertification.
Some RDNs call them selves nutritionists but not all nutritionists are RDNs. In many cases the term nutritionist can be used by anyone, and in other instances, the nutritionist may have completed a program or coursework.
The RDNs job is to help translate nutrition science in applicable and practical ways that will facilitate you in making changes appropriate for your needs and lifestyle.

How often will we meet?

This is variable for everyone. Generally speaking, most of our clients find weekly to bi-weekly sessions to be most beneficial. After our initial session, we will decide together if meeting every one or two weeks is the best fit.

Do you take insurance?

We do not take any insurance directly at this time. However, we recommend you check with your insurance company to see if they will cover nutrition services from out-of-network providers. If insurance will cover your sessions partially or in full, you are responsible for payment at the time of service (cash, check or credit card), and we will provide you a Superbill after the end of each month. You can then submit the Superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

What if I have questions after we meet?

We are available to touch base with you in between sessions! The packages offer unlimited access to us while we are working together. You can contact us by email or the Voxer app. We always do our best to answer within 24 hours, sometimes much sooner.

Where are you located?

We are an entirely virtual practice located throughout California!

I live out of the area, but I would like to work with you. Is this possible?

Absolutely! We see clients throughout California and all over the world. We offer private one on one sessions from various locations while still having the face to face quality for ideal care.
